Apsara International Air, or Apsara Air in short, has declared bankrupt and its sole Airbus A320 aircraft was returned in October 2015. It was not able to pay debts including at least US$5043 worth of its Siem Reap office rental fees to Cambodia Airports Authority and forced to close down its only office at Borey Angkor Shopping Arcade in Siem Reap after 24 August 2015.

Cambodia Airports Authority is the landlord of the various airline offices in Borey Angkor Shopping Arcade located along National Road No. 6 known also as Airport Road including offices of Sky Angkor Airlines and Lao Airlines.

Apsara Air launched its first Siem Reap-Phnom Penh route on 20 September 2014 until November 2014. It also ran charter flights to Krabi and Silhanoukville until its office was forced to close down. The short-lived airline was co-owned by Air Hanuman, an airline ticket wholesaler based in Siem Reap.
