Sun Phuquoc Airways (SPA) has launched scheduled flight between Phuquoc and Almaty, the commercial capital of Kazakhstan, on 25 October 2026 with its A330-200 aircraft.
On 25 October 2026, according to schedules, SPA flight 9G221 departs from Phuquoc for Almaty at 6.10 pm, touches down in Almaty at 11.55 pm before leaving Almaty for Phuquoc at 1.25 am on 26 October 2026 under flight 9G220 and arriving in Phuquoc at 10.50 am local time.
The flight duration from Phuquoc to Almaty is 7 hours 45 minutes while the flight duration from Almaty to Phuquoc is 7 hours 25 minutes, subject to air traffic conditions.
From 1 November 2026, SPA flies to Almaty daily with its A321LR aircraft while the A330 returns to the domestic flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in preparation for long-haul flights to Moscow and Astana. The return flight to Almaty can connect to SPA's return flight to Changi from Phuquoc but the connection requries tourists to sleep overnight in Phuquoc.
