China Southern has deployed two Airbus A350-900 aircraft on its Singapore and Nairobi routes. While the airline has been constantly operating on the route between Guangzhou and Singapore Changi Airport, the Guangzhou-Nairobi route is China Southern's latest resumption route since the covid pandemic.
The A350-900 has been operating regularly on the Guangzhou-Changi-Guangzhou routes since 10 January 2023 with flight CZ3039 landing in Changi at 3.50 pm according to actual time (scheduled time 4.15 pm), replacing the Dreamliner 787-9. The aircraft appeared on a business chartered flight to Changi on 3 January 2023.
On 9 January 2023, China Southern A350-900 flight CZ633 departs from Guangzhou for Nairobi at 1.13 am (scheduled time 1.05 am), touches down in Nairobi at 6.58 am (scheduled time 7.15 am) before leaving Nairobi at 3.58 pm (scheduled time 3.50 pm) local time on the same day local and arriving in Guangzhou on 10 January 2023 at 6.49 am (scheduled time 8.05 am) under flight CZ634.
China Southern flies to Changi from Guangzhou on Mondays (operated by A320 aircraft) and Tuesdays while it flies to Nairobi on Mondays and Saturdays and touches down in Guangzhou from Nairobi on Tuesdays and Sundays.
