Scoot Tigerair Pte Ltd has announced on 4 November 2021 that it is launching non-stop Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) scheduled flight from Singapore Changi Airport to Incheon on 15 November 2021. It flies every Monday the VTL service to Incheon. There will be no daily VTL flights to Incheon.
Interested customers need to take note that they need to spend one week at least in South Korea after entering Incheon, the international gateway to Seoul and other parts of South Korea.
According to schedules, Scoot flight TR840 departs from Singapore Changi for Incheon at 1.25 am, touches down in Incheon at 8.50 am before leaving Incheon for Singapore at 10.30 am and touching down in Changi Airport at 4.15 pm under VTL flight TR841.
Passengers of the VTL flight operated by Scoot's 787-9 Dreamliner to Incheon need to take note that the sixth or seventh day PCR test must be conducted in South Korea at a range cost of S$150 to S$200 (https://www.caas.gov.sg/docs/default-source/docs---cc/annex-c.pdf).
The VTL flights are definitely burning larger holes in the passengers' wallets and are advisable not to book if there are budget constraints.
The non-stop VTL flight of Scoot to Incheon ends the stage when Scoot had to transit in Taoyuan before its onward flights to Incheon before the pandemic.
