Vietnam Airlines issued a statement on 4 October 2021 stating that it plans to resume scheduled flight from Hanoi to Taoyuan on 1 November 2021. It will fly once weekly on Tuesdays. No further details are available.
The Vietnam national flag carrier has already resumed international commercial flights to Narita on Tuesdays and Thursdays, to Incheon on Thursdays and Sundays, and to Suvarnabhumi on Wednesdays.
On 3 and 5 October 2021, Vietnam Airlines resumes commercial flights to Sydney and Melbourne from Ho Chi Minh City.
Vietnam Airlines also operates relief flights to KLIA from Hanoi and to Incheon from Danang and Van Don.
