The marketing officer revealed that Starlux Airlines plans to deploy its first A330neo jet on the Taoyuan=Singapore routes by February 2021 before deploying the aircraft on its planned routes to the U.S. in mid-2022. There may also be A330neo flights to Suvarnabhumi. Familiarization and test flights of the aircraft in Taiwan are expected to start by December 2021.

On 20 October 2021, Starlux Airlines' first A330-900 jet was unveiled by Twitter netizen Europsot.  The dual-aisle A330neo aircraft will effectively complement the narrow-body aircraft fleet of Starlux Airlines' A321neo.

Starlux Airlines currently flies to 10 destinations in Asia including Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore from Taoyuan, and has about 28 flights per week. The financial performance of the airline in the third quarter of 2021 will be significantly improved. The U.S. flight is expected to start in mid-2022.
