Drukair Royal Bhutan Airlines formally inaugurates its new Airbus A320neo on 12 October 2021 in Paro and introduces new onboard meals, meal service equipment, food packaging, comfort items and amenities with an innovative and sustainable inflight service concept.
The artworks and designs donning all inflight service products in the A320neo proudly represent the rich cultural heritage of Bhutan and the traditional patterns and colours of Bhutanese textiles.
Drukair has managed to reduce or in many cases eliminate single use plastics by introducing biodegradable and recyclable wood and paper alternatives that are inline with Drukair’s vision and commitment to transit into an eco-friendly airline.
Bhutan Majesty King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema grace the aircraft inaugural ceremony on 12 October 2021 at Paro airport.
