According to Gulf Air and Changi Airport, Gulf Air flight GF165 which arrives in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 at 12.40 pm from Bahrain on 4 April 2021 extends its flight to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi on Sundays.

According to schedules, GF165 takes off from Singapore for Suvarnabhumi at 2.05 pm, arrives in Suvarnabhumi at 3.35 pm before taking off from Suvarnabhumi for Singapore at 4.50 pm and touches down in Changi Airport at 8.20 pm under flight GF166.

Flight GF166 departs non-stop from Changi Airport for Bahrain at 9.20 pm on Sundays and arrives in Bahrain at 12.15 am on Mondays.

According to FlightRadar24, the first 787-9 Dreamliner of Gulf Air on GF165/GF166 to celebrate the launch of Gulf Air's non-stop flight to Singapore is in retro livery. The jet is first received on 22 October 2019 as part of the countdown celebrations to Gulf Air's 70th Anniversary on 24 March 2020.

Gulf Air commenced commercial operations on 24 March 1950 in the name of Gulf Aviation Company Limited. It was renamed in 1973 as Gulf Air and became the national airline of Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and Abu Dhabi Emirate. Since 5 May 2007, Gulf Air has been fully owned by Bahrain long after Etihad Airways, Oman Air and Qatar Airways began commercial flights on their own.

Gulf Air adopted the current Arabian falcon logo as above in 2019 and the logo is first featured on its first Dreamliner.

Gulf Air has seven 787-9 Dreamliners to date with a purchase-order for three more Dreamliners.

Gulf Air's Singapore-Suvarnabhumi passenger route appears to be for tourists from Bahrain. The route is not opened for Singaporeans to book as the airline's web-site does not show seats available for booking on this route.

Gulf Air's Bahrain=Singapore flights are available for booking online until 31 May 2021, pending further schedule confirmation and passengers can change their flights for free during this period if they chose to do so. They may also exchange their tickets at any time of the year or refund their tickets until 31 May 2021.

As the first new airline from a new destination during the pandemic, Gulf Air takes the opportunity to assure the passenger that the 787-9 Dreamliner is qualified to be free from SARS-CoV-2. Measures such as recirculation systems with High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) filters, crew wearing protective gear and on masks throughout the flights and cabin disinfection are prevalent to ensure passengers experience a safe and stress-free environment onboard their flights (https://www.gulfair.com/covid19#additional-safety-measures-on-board)

Passengers are reminded to wear masks when checking-in and travelling with Gulf Air.
