In November 2019, China's National Development and Reform Commission He Lifeng and Airbus CEO Fu Li signed the "Memorandum of Understanding on Further Development of Industrial Cooperation" on behalf of both parties. According to the agreement, the Airbus Tianjin Widebody Aircraft Completion and Delivery Center will start the cabin installation and aircraft painting of the A350 widebody aircraft, and plans to deliver its first A350 aircraft in 2021.
It is reported that this will be China Eastern Airlines' 10th A350 aircraft.
