Cebu Pacific Air launches flight from Manila to Melbourne on 14 August 2018

Cebu Pacific Air launches its first scheduled flight from Manila to Melbourne on 14 August 2018. It flies on this route on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays using its 436-seater  Airbus A330-300 aircraft.

Melbourne is the second Australian city on Cebu Pacific's route network after Sydney, to which its first flight from Manila was conducted in 2014.

Subject to final regulatory approval, Cebu Pacific flight 5J049 departs from Manila on 14 August 2018 for Melbourne Tullamarine International Airport Terminal 2 at 6.05 am, arrives in Melbourne at 3.50 pm before leaving Melbourne under flight 5J050 for Manila at 5.05 pm and touching down in Manila at 11.15 pm.

Besides the new route, Cebu Pacific Air expects to receive its first Airbus A321ceo (or A321-200) within the next few weeks. Between 2018 and 2022, it will take delivery of 6 more A321ceo, 32 A321neo jets and 8 more ATR 72-600 turboprop aircraft.

Currently, Cebu Pacific Air has a fleet of 36 A320-200 and 8 A330-300 aircraft.
