Regular JATA Tourism Expo Sponsor Starlux Airlines launches flight from Kaohsiung to Naha, the capital of Okinawa, Japan, on 1 January 2027. It is also increasing services on its other Japanese routes such as to Kumamoto and Narita.
On 1 January 2027, according to schedules, Starlux flight JX362 departs from Kaohsiung for Naha at 5.15 pm, touches down in Naha at 8 pm before taking off from Naha for Kaohsiung at 9 pm under flight JX363 and arriving in Kaohsiung at 10.05 pm.
Starlux Airlines flies to Naha from Kaohsiung daily with its A321neo jet.
On the increase in flight frequencies to Japan, Starlux Airlines will fly daily from Taichung to Kumamoto with effect from 25 October 2026, with flight JX316 taking off from Taichung for Kumamoto at 3.05 pm, touching down in Kumamoto at 6.15 pm before leaving Kumamoto for Taichung at 7.15 pm and arriving in Taichung under flight JX317 at 9.05 pm.
Starlux Airlines will also operate daily flights between Taichung and Narita during the 2026/2027 winter season.
