News from tourism players under Cambodia Tourism Board at NATAS Travel Fair 2025

From 28 February 2025 to 2 March 2025, Cambodia Tourism Board with a host of Cambodia tourism players exhibit their products and services at NATAS Travel Fair 2025.


Worth of note are the booths of AirAsia Cambodia under AirAsia Group and Bakong Tourists.


At AirAsia Group, flight schedules of the route destinations of AirAsia Cambodia and Thai AirAsia in Cambodia are distributed.


At Bakong Tourists, the app provider announces that the Bakong Tourists app will be open to use in Singapore earliest in March 2025 after the relevant authority in Singapore approves the use of the app for cashless payments from Singaporeans in Singapore.


Currently, Bakong Tourists is in use in Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia for tourists to make cashless payments to merchants. Singapore will be added later and the app aims to widen its use to more countries.

With regards to the use of the Cambodia e-Arrival card, a tourism company manager interviewed mentions that the Cambodia e-Arrival card can be filled in three days to the day of departure as long as the period is within the seven days period before departure. For tourists who are unaware of the rule, there are now computer terminals in the international airports of Cambodia for tourists to fill in the e-Arrival card. 

About hotels, the public is informed that an airport hotel around Siem Reap Angkor International Airport will be ready in six months' time. Currently, it takes 40 minutes by car and airport bus for tourists to reach Siem Reap from Angkor Airport.
