Starting from 30 March 2025, civil aviation will implement flight operations for the 2025 summer and autumn season. China Eastern Airlines Guangdong Branch has optimized flight arrangements based on the needs of business, tourism, and family visits in various cities in Guangdong to prepare for the new season.
In the 2025 summer and autumn season, China Eastern Airlines will operate an average of 192 flights per day in Guangdong. In addition to Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Jieyang, Zhanjiang, Huizhou, and Foshan, new flights from Meizhou have been opened. New routes in various places include Jieyang-Changzhou/Huai'an/Lianyungang/Zhoushan/Zhengzhou, Zhanjiang-Ganzhou, Huizhou-Wuhuxuan/Shanghai Pudong, Foshan-Kunming/Ningbo/Yiwu, Meizhou-Beijing Daxing, etc.; encrypted routes include Guangzhou-Shanghai Pudong/Qingdao/Hefei, Zhanjiang-Hefei, Foshan-Hangzhou, etc.
In addition, China Eastern continues to increase its capacity investment in routes such as Beijing and Shanghai in Guangdong. After the season change, Guangzhou-Shanghai averages 18 flights per day, Shenzhen-Shanghai averages 15 flights per day, Jieyang Chaoshan-Shanghai averages 8.2 flights per day; wide-body aircraft account for 2/3 of the Guangzhou-Shanghai Express and Shenzhen-Shanghai Express; Guangzhou-Beijing averages 8 flights per day, Shenzhen-Beijing averages 6.6 flights per day. It is worth mentioning that Guangdong-Shanghai Pudong will increase to 4 flights per day after the season change, which will more effectively facilitate passengers in the Pearl River Delta to connect with international flights.
