Gulf Air launches flight to Guangzhou on 29 May 2024

Gulf Air launches non-stop direct flight from Bahrain to Guangzhou on 29 May 2024.
On 29 May 2024, Gulf Air flight GF122 departs from Bahrain for Guangzhou at 11 pm, touches down in Guangzhou at 12 pm on 30 May 2024 before leaving Guangzhou for Bahrain at 5 pm and touching down in Bahrain at 9 pm under flight GF123.
Gulf Air flies to Guangzhou with its 787-9 Dreamliner on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. It returns to Bahrain from Guangzhou on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
China Southern launches Shenzhen's longest flight to Mexico on 11 May 2024

China Southern debuts its longest flight from the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen on 11 May 2024 when its Airbus A350-900XWB launches non-stop flight from Shenzhen to Mexico City.
According to schedules, China Southern flight CZ8031 departs from Shenzhen for Mexico City on 11 May 2024 at 9 pm, touches down in Mexico City at 11 pm local time before leaving Mexico City for Shenzhen via Tijuana at 1 am on 12 May 2024, stops over in Tijuana at 4 am before taking off from Tijuana for Shenzhen at 5.30 am and arriving in Shenzhen at 12.20 pm on 13 May 2024 under flight CZ8032.
Aeroroutes reports that the distance between Shenzhen and Mexico, 14062 km, is the longest route from southern China, with 16 hours blocked time.
China Southern flies to Mexico City and Tijuana from Shenzhen on Tuesdays and Saturdays. It leaves Tijuana for Shenzhen on Wednesdays and Sundays.
Hong Kong Airlines launches flight to Vientiane on 27 April 2024

Hong Kong Airlines launches once-weekly scheduled flight from Hong Kong to Vientiane on 27 April 2024.
On 27 April 2024, Hong Kong Airlines flight HX562 actually departs from Hong Kong for Vientiane at 3.49 pm, touches down in Vientiane at 4.58 pm before leaving Vientiane for Hong Kong at 6.09 pm and arriving in Hong Kong at 8.49 pm under flight HX563.
According to schedules, flight HX562 leaves Hong Kong for Vientiane at 2.55 pm, arrives in Vientiane at 4.20 pm before departing from Vientiane for Hong Kong at 5.20 pm and landing in Hong Kong at 8.45 pm under flight HX563.
Hong Kong Airlines flies to Vientiane on Saturdays with its A320 aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines launches direct non-stop scheduled flight from Ho Chi Minh City to Munich on 7 October 2024.
On 7 October 2024, according to schedules, Vietnam Airlines flight VN33 departs from Ho Chi Minh City for Munich at 11.40 pm, touches down in Munich at 6.40 am on 8 October 2024 before leaving Munich for Hanoi at 12.45 pm local time and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 5 am on 9 October 2024 under flight VN32.

On 5 October 2024, according to schedules, Vietnam Airlines flight VN35 departs from Hanoi for Munich at 12.05 am, touches down in Munich at 6.50 am before leaving Munich for Hanoi on 5 October 2024 local time at 1.35 pm and landing in Hanoi at 5 am on 6 October 2024 under flight VN34.
The Hanoi-Munich flight lasts around 11 hours 45 minutes while the Munich-Hanoi flight lasts for 10 hours 25 minutes.

Congratulations to Air Japan on its inaugural flight NQ4 from Changi to Narita on 27 April 2024!
NQ4 actually departs from Changi for Narita at 1.36 am and lands in Narita at 8.49 am according to FlightRadar24.
The flight is possible after the simulation exercises for indicating Air Japan flight number and status were successful.
