From 19 February 2024 to 29 March 2024, Ruili Airlines launches direct scheduled flight from Nanning to Hong Kong with its B737-700 aircraft.
On 19 February 2024, Ruili Airlines flight DR5049 departs from Nanning for Hong Kong at 11.55 am, touches down in Hong Kong at 1.25 pm before leaving Hong Kong for Nanning at 2.25 pm and arriving in Nanning at 4.05 pm under flight DR5050.
Ruili Airlines flies to Hong Kong on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
From 31 March 2024, Ruili Airlines changes the flight codes to DR5053 and DR5054 as it includes Xishuangbanna (Banna, for Gasa Airport or Jinghong Airport) as the airport of origin for the Hong Kong flight while Nanning is the airport of the transit flight.

According to schedules, flight DR5053 departs from Banna for Hong Kong via Nanning at 7 am, transits in Nanning at 8.55 am before taking off from Nanning for Hong Kong at 9.40 am and arriving in Hong Kong at 11.05 am.
Then at 12.05 pm, Ruili Airlines outbound flight DR5054 leaves Hong Kong for Banna via Nanning, transits in Nanning at 1.20 pm before embarking on the return voyage to Banna at 2.25 pm and landing in Banna at 4.10 pm.
