According to MIAT Mongolian Airlines Facebook, the airline has started 787-9 Dreamliner commercial flight on its route to Istanbul on 15 August 2023 from the Ulaanbaatar new airport in Khoshig Valley (UBN).
According to AeroRoutes, the airline has also scheduled 787-9 flights to Istanbul on 17 August, 24 August, 31 August, 7 September, 14 September 2023 and from 16 August 2023, there are five to six 787-9 flights to Frankfurt from UBN.
Other future long-haul destinations that MIAT's 787-9 may fly to include Changi, KLIA, an unidentified city in the U.S., Brisbane and Sydney.
