Arkia Israel Airlines, the leisure airline of Israel, launches non-stop scheduled flight from Tel Aviv to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, on 31 October 2023.
According to schedules, Arkia flight IZ639 departs from Tel Aviv to Colombo on 31 October 2023 at 12.05 am, touches down in Colombo at 10.25 am before leaving Colombo for Tel Aviv at 1.30 am on 1 November 2023 and landing in Tel Aviv at 5.20 am under flight IZ640.
Arkia flies to Colombo on Tuesdays and Saturdays and arrives in Tel Aviv from Colombo on Wednesdays and Sundays with its Airbus A321neo, which it received from Airbus in 2018 as launch operator of the aircraft, that is able to allow the airline the flexibility to fly long-range operations of up to 7,400 km and to tap into new long-haul markets.
Powered by LEAP CFM motors, Arkia's A321neo is configured with 220 seats in a single-class layout. The new long-range cabin configuration allows Arkia Israel Airlines to offer each passenger more space and premium products for widebody comfort.
