International direct flights between Cam Ranh and Almaty will be officially launched in October 2022, the Kazakh International News Agency reported.
Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, Talhat Rastayev, met with Vietnamese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Pham Tai Nimai and VietJet Air representative Nguyen Chi Tam on 23 August 2022. During the talks, the Vietnamese side stated that it is ready to launch regular international flights with Kazakhstan.
VietJet Air plans to launch flights between Cam Ranh and Almaty in October 2022. In addition, the airline plans to launch flights between Cam Ranh and Nur-Sultan.
According to the plan, international flights between Kazakhstan and Vietnam will be operated 2-3 times a week by VietJet Air's A330 passenger aircraft.
