According to Vietnam News Agency, on 3 June 2022, Vietnam Airlines held the opening ceremony of the new Singapore-Cam Ranh-Singapore route. The first flight, VN692, took off at 11.30 am from Changi with 160 passengers and arrived safely in Cam Ranh, Nha Trang at 12.50 pm.
Vietnam Airlines operates two flights a week. Flights from Cam Ranh operate on Tuesdays and Sundays; flights from Singapore Changi operate on Fridays and Sundays. This is Vietnam Airlines' fifth flight between Vietnam and Singapore.
Earlier, on 1 June 2022, Vietnam Airlines revised its flight plans and launched two routes, Danang-Singapore and Phu Quoc-Singapore. The Danang-Singapore route operates 3 times a week; the Phu Quoc-Singapore route operates 2 times a week. In addition, Vietnam Airlines plans to launch the Cam Ranh-Incheon route from 1 July 2022, with one flight per day.
