T'way Air, one of South Korea's private airlines, has announced on 16 May 2022 that its first A330-300 scheduled commercial flight takes off for Singapore from Incheon on 28 May 2022 and touches down in Singapore Changi Airport during sleeping hour on 29 May 2022. According to Mainlymiles, T'way Air will operate the A330-300 to Changi Airport Terminal 3, hence making aircraft-spotting from the public area impossible unless the aircraft passes by the tarmac opposite the viewing gallery of Changi Airport Terminal 1 as it departs.

On 28 May 2022, T'way Air flight TW171 departs from Incheon for Singapore Changi at 8.50 pm, is expected to touch down in Singapore Changi Terminal 3 at 2 am on 29 May before leaving Changi Airport for Incheon at 3.30 am on 29 May 2022 and arriving in Incheon at 11 am on the same day under flight TW172.

Initially, flight TW171 flies from Incheon to Singapore Changi on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 28 May to 30 June 2022 while flight TW172 takes off for Incheon on Thursdays and Sundays during the same travel period.

From 1 July 2022 to the end of the summer season, TW171/TW172 flies daily between both airports.

According to T'way Air, the A330's two-row Business Class cabin offers 12 seats that convert to angle-flat beds in a 2-2-2 configuration. In bed mode, the seats recline to a 165-degree angle.

T'way Air is the third South Korean private airline to operate scheduled flight to Singapore after Asiana Airlines and Air Premia during the pandemic. It has a fleet of 3 A330 jets for long-haul flights. It also plans to launch flights to Jakarta, Denpasar, Sydney, Khoshig Valley, Zagreb and Bishkek after Singapore with the new aircraft.
