MIAT Mongolian Airlines has announced that it is launching scheduled flight to Busan from the new Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN) in Khoshig Valley with effect from 23 June 2022. Khoshig Valley, the affectionate name for UBN, is now the international gateway to Ulaanbaatar.
On 23 June 2022, MIAT Mongolian Airlines flight OM311 departs from UBN for Busan at 7.30 am, touches down in Busan at 12.05 pm before leaving Busan for UBN at 1.05 pm and arriving in UBN at 4.10 pm under flight OM312.
MIAT flies between Khoshig Valley and Busan on Thursdays and Sundays.
Beside Busan, the airline is adding second weekly scheduled flight to Istanbul from UBN from 2 June 2022, which means that MIAT Mongolian Airlines is flying to Istanbul on Thursdays and Sundays.
There are no flights to Moscow, Berlin and Beijing during summer this year due to the Russia-Ukraine war and the covid epidemic in China but MIAT is allowed to resume weekly flight to Guangzhou in June 2022.
