Congratulations to Zipair on its official inaugural flight to Singapore on 7 September 2021!
The Dreamliner 787-8 of Zipair, officially known as Zipair Tokyo Inc., lands in Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 1 at 7.29 am on 7 September 2021, about one hour ahead of schedule.
According to schedules, Zipair flight ZG53 departs for Singapore from Narita at 2 pm and arrives in Singapore Changi at 8.25 pm. On the actual day of the inaugural flight, it departed from Narita at 2.02 am and landed in Changi Airport at 7.29 pm.
The outbound flight to Narita from Changi, ZG54, however did not pass by the tarmac facing the viewing gallery of Changi Airport Terminal 1. It departed from Changi at 10.16 pm (scheduled departure at 9.55 pm).
With more than 10 aircraft-spotters chasing the plane at the viewing gallery, it was hard to capture nice views of the Zipair aircraft moving in front of the viewing gallery.
Zipair is the long-haul low-cost carrier subsidiary of Japan Airlines.
