Juneyao Air receives its first A321neo on 27 November 2020

Juneyao Air receives its first Airbus A321neo aircraft at the Airbus Tianjin Delivery Center on 27 November 2020. 

Juneyao Air's first A321neo completed the final assembly in Hamburg, Germany, and was transferred to Tianjin to complete the delivery work with the joint efforts and cooperation of relevant regulatory agencies, Juneyao Air and Airbus Hamburg and Tianjin teams.

The new A321neo aircraft, which uses Pratt & Whitney Jingjie Power’s PW1100G-JM geared turbofan engine with a comfortable two-class cabin layout, including 8 Business Class seats and 199 Economy Class seats,  is being deployed on Juneyao Air's domestic flight operations.

With the addition of the A321neo, Juneyao Air operates an Airbus fleet consisting of 70 A320 series aircraft.

The Airbus A321neo aircraft is the largest member of the A320 family of aircraft, which has the widest cabin in a single-aisle aircraft. Thanks to the latest technology including new generation engines and shark winglets, the fuel consumption of the A320neo series aircraft can be reduced by at least 20% and noise by 50% compared with the previous generation aircraft. Up to now, the A320neo series aircraft has received more than 7,450 orders from 120 customers.
