According to the Facebook page of Myanmar Airways International (MAI), the Myanmar airline launches its longest route, the Yangon - Sydney flight with a stopover in Denpasar, Bali, on 30 May 2020 using its Airbus A320 aircraft.
On 30 May 2020, MAI flight 8M1001 departs from Yangon for Sydney at 7.15 am and arrives in Sydney at 9 am local time after re-fueling in Denpasar.
At 10 am, MAI flight 8M1003 leaves Sydney for Yangon.
Early in May 2020, MAI has performed special relief flights to Colombo and Kuala Lumpur from Yangon.
