According to Ethiopian Airlines, it is in talks with the Mauritius Government over a possibility to invest in and re-start Air Mauritius. If successful, Air Mauritius will be a feeder carrier to Ethiopian Airlines' international route network and subsidiary.
Air Mauritius is in voluntary administration due to financial difficulties in continuing operations caused by the pandemic.
