Lao Airlines has closed down its Singapore airport branch office months permanently following its withdrawal of flight operations from Changi Airport. No General Sales Agent has been appointed in Singapore to handle marketing and sales of its air tickets in Singapore.
Passengers that wish to fly with Lao Airlines have to fly to Suvarnabhumi instead to make the connections to Vientiane, Luang Prabang, Savannakhet and Pakse. They can also fly to Vientiane and Luang Prabang with SilkAir from Singapore at more expensive fares.
Meanwhile, Lao Airlines has opened Vientiane's new domestic airport terminal in Wattay while its airport lounges in Vientiane are closed.
