According to Magnificent Mongolia of G.A.S., Aero Mongolia took delivery of its first Embraer regional jet ERJ145 on 11 May 2018 and conducts test flights from Ulaanbaatar to domestic aerodromes of Khovd, Ulgii, Uvs, Bayankhingor and Gobi-Altai on 20 June 2018.
With its new 50-seater ERJ1145 aircraft (registered JU-1800), Aero Mongolia plans to expand its route network to cover Tianjin, Pudong, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok, Astana and even Cheongju and Tokyo.
Aero Mongolia is one of Mongolia's national airlines. It first started flight service in 2003 with Fokker F50 turboprop and its current international destinations are Irkutsk in Siberia and Hohhot in Inner Mongolia.
