Air Cambodia, that is currently operating ATR72-600 flights from Techo to Ho Chi Minh City and secondary cities in Vietnam, is planning COMAC C909 operation launch on its existing route to Nanning from Techo on 15 December 2026, and from 16 December 2026 formally launches new route to Haikou from Techo with the Chinese aircraft.
On 16 December 2026, according to schedules, Air Cambodia's C909 flight K6914 departs from Techo for Haikou at 6.40 pm, touches down on Haikou at 9.35 pm before leaving Haikou for Techo at 10.35 pm and arriving in Techo at 11.35 pm under flight K6915.
Air Cambodia is scheduled to fly to Haikou from Techo on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On 1 February 2027, the airline launches new C909 route linking Sihanouk with Chongqing with flight K6910 taking off from Sihanouk for Chongqing at 11.30 am, arriving in Chongqing at 4 pm before departing from Chongqing for Sihanouk under flight K6911 at 5 pm and touching down in Sihanouk at 7.30 pm under flight K6911.
Air Cambodia flies to Chongqing from Sihanouk on Mondays and Thursdays.
The C909 will not be deployed on services to Camranh and Phuquoc as Air Cambodia is increasing flight frequencies with the ATR76 to Phuquoc from three flights a week to daily flights from 25 October 2026 and to Camranh from two flights a week to three weekly flights from 17 December 2026.
With the increasing ATR76 flights to Phuquoc and Camranh, the ATR76 flights to Danang will be taken over by Air Cambodia's A320 effective 25 October 2026.
