West Air, the Chongqing-based low-cost airline subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, has launched non-stop scheduled flight from Changsha to Vientiane on 12 March 2024 with its Airbus A320 aircraft.
On 12 March 2024, according to schedules, West Air flight PN6561 departs from Changsha for Vientiane at 2.55 pm, touches down in Vientiane at 4.45 pm before leaving Vientiane for Changsha at 5.55 pm and arriving in Changsha at 10.05 pm under flight PN6562.
On the actual day of 12 March 2024, flight PN6561 landed in Vientiane at 5.24 pm while flight PN6562 left Vientiane for Changsha at 6.15 pm.
The flight to Vientiane from Changsha is West Air's first international route from Changsha.
West Air is not the first airline to link Changsha with Vientiane as Lao Airlines launches direct flight between both cities in 2023.
West Air flies to Vientiane from Changsha on Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays.
