EL AL Israel Airlines takes off for Abu Dhabi successfully on 31 August 2020

According to The Times of Israel and the tweet of Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu, EL AL Israel Airlines dedicated a special check-in counter for its first scheduled charter flight to Abu Dhabi on 31 August 2020.

EL AL flight LY971 successfully departed from Tel Aviv for Abu Dhabi at 11.21 am local time using Boeing B737-900 named "Peace".

Onboard flight LY971 are passengers that comprise the Israeli- American delegation including the US Presidential Adviser Jared Kushner, US National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien and Head of Israel's National Security Council Meir Ben-Shabbat.
