Siam Air is short for Siam Air Transport Co Ltd, a small private airline based in Don Mueang, Thailand. It has converted its charter flights to scheduled flights after receiving its first Boeing B737-800 aircraft named "EEE" on 24 October 2015 with its first revenue scheduled flight to Hong Kong on 11 November 2015 and to Macau from Don Mueang on 25 December 2015. On 1 January 2016, it is launching a daily scheduled flight to Singapore from Don Mueang on behalf of Orient Thai Airlines.

On 1 January 2016, Siam Air flight O8 668 departs from Don Mueang for Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 at 7.50 am, arrives in Singapore at 11.30 am before leaving Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3  at 12.35 pm and touching down in Don Mueang at 2.20 pm under O8 669.

Orient Thai Airlines has a sales and marketing agreement with Siam Air whereby the latter sells on-line tickets on Orient Thai's web-site and Siam Air flights are operated on behalf of Orient Thai Airlines. Interested customers can book Siam Air's Singapore-Don Mueang-Singapore tickets on www.flyorientthai.com or via Siam Air's web-site www.siamair.co.th.

Sayacinta - Airpost understands that Orient Thai Airlines which operates limited domestic flights to Phuket and regular flights to Hong Kong and charter flights to Chinese cities such as Chongqing, Changsha, Chengdu, Nanchang, Nanjing, Nanning, Guangzhou and Zhengzhou using its Boeing B747/B767/B737 aircraft did not take up any slot allocated to the airline by Changi Airport for years due to aircraft availability and financial constraints.

Orient Thai Airlines formerly operated scheduled flights to Singapore from Phnom Penh in the name of Cambodia International Airlines in the late 1990s.
