Spring Airlines flies from Suvarnabhumi to Yangzhou and Changchun four times a week

Spring Airlines that bases one of its Airbus A320 aircraft at Suvarnabhumi International Airport of Bangkok overnight has inaugurated Thailand's first scheduled flight to Yangzhou where the onward flight from Yangzhou will link Changchun in northeastern China on 3 November 2015.

Flights linking Suvarnabhumi with Yangzhou and Changchun operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

On 3 November 2015, Spring Airlines flight 9C8748 departs from Suvarnabhumi for Yangzhou at 4.20 am, transits in Yangzhou at 11.50 am before leaving Yangzhou for Changchun at 1.20 pm and arriving in Changchun at 3.45 pm.

The first outbound flight from Changchun to Suvarnabhumi via Yangzhou takes place at 4.45 pm under flight 9C8747 that will transit in Yangzhou at 7.15 pm to pick up passengers in Yangzhou before taking off from Yangzhou at  8.45 pm and returning to Suvarnabhumi at 12.35 am on 4 November 2015.

With the addition of Yangzhou and Changchun to its Bangkok route network, Spring Airlines from 4 November 2015 flies from Suvarnabhumi to nine airports in China including Shanghai-Pudong, Shijiazhuang, Fuzhou, Nanchang, Chengdu, Hangzhou, Harbin, Yangzhou and Changchun.

Yangzhou is located in Jiangsu Province, on the north bank of Yangtze River. Its airport is also known as Yangzhou Taizhou or Yangtai Airport as the airport serves both cities of Yangzhou and Taizhou.

Suvarnabhumi is Yangzhou's first direct Southeast Asia flight destination. Its other international destination is Seoul-Incheon in northeast Asia with weekly flights operated by Jeju Air.
