The Mongolia charter flight serves as a warm-up preparation for Myanmar National Airlines' scheduled flight launch to Singapore from Yangon in August 2015. The airline is also planning to launch flights from Yangon to Hong Kong and Taipei by 2016.

A spokesperson at Myanmar National Airlines informed Sayacinta - Airpost the airline will announce the Singapore flight schedules and fares by mid-July 2015 after a sales agent in Singapore has been appointed and the flight schedules have been finalized and approved by bilateral civil aviation bodies. The airline is also planning to publish its first Inflight Magazine after scheduled international flights begin.
