Competition for the Hong Kong tourist market has heat up. On 12 December 2019, Vietjet Air launches daily scheduled flight from Danang to Hong Kong using its Airbus A321 aircraft.
On 12 December 2019, Vietjet Air flight VJ872 departs from Danang for Hong Kong at 12.45 pm, arrives in Hong Kong (Terminal 2) at 3.30 pm before leaving Hong Kong for Danang at 5.20 pm and touching down in Danang at 6.05 pm under flight VJ873.
One-way fare from Danang to Hong Kong starts from 23.08 Singapore Dollars.

Aircalin has recently announced at JATA Tourism Expo 2019 in Osaka that it is deploying its newest aircraft the A330-900neo jet on its routes from Noumea to Narita and Kansai from 29 March 2020.
The flight schedules of Aircalin A330-900neo from 29 March 2020 are as follows:-
Flight SB800 departs from Noumea for Narita at 12.55 am, touches down in Narita at 8 am before leaving Narita for Noumea at 12.15 pm and arriving in Noumea at 10.55 pm local time on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and weekends under flight SB801.
Flight SB880 leaves Noumea for Kansai at 12.20 am, arrives in Kansai at 7.25 am before taking off from Kansai for Noumea at 11.30 am and touching down in Noumea at 10.20 pm on Mondays and Thursdays under flight SB881.
The A330-900neo of Aircalin has 26 Hibiscus Business Class, 21 Premium Economy and 244 Economy Class seats. It can fly to a distance range of 12130 km at 860 km per hour.

Chongqing Airlines launches direct Airbus A320neo flight from Chongqing to Macau on 14 November 2019.
On 14 November 2019, Chongqing Airlines flight OQ2015 departs from Chongqing for Macau at 8.05 pm, arrives in Macau at 10.30 pm before leaving Macau for Chongqing at 11.30 pm and arriving in Chongqing at 1.40 am on 15 November 2019 under flight OQ2016.
The above timings are effective on Thursdays and Saturdays while on Tuesdays, flight OQ2015 leaves Chongqing for Macau at 8.05 pm and OQ2016 takes off from Macau for Chongqing at the same time.
Chongqing Airlines flies to Macau on Thursdays, Saturdays and Tuesdays and lands in Chongqing on Fridays, Sundays and Wednesdays.

Recently, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) officially approved Air Changan to expand the scope of its business applications. At this point, Air Changan has been granted the rights to operate regional domestic flights to Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan and to develop its route network covering flights to China's neighbouring countries.
Granting Air Changan international passenger and cargo transportation licenses will lay a solid foundation for Air Changan to launch international routes.
Changan Airlines operates its first flight on 9 May 2016. It is the only local airline in Shaanxi Province under the jurisdiction of the Northwest Regional Administration of CAAC. Since its establishment, it has developed rapidly. It has launched 78 domestic routes and has 59 navigation points, covering 25 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. In 2017 and 2018, the normal rate of flights ranked first among the national passenger airlines.

Air Busan has launched scheduled flight from Incheon to Shenzhen on 13 November 2019 using its Airbus A321 aircraft.
On 13 November 2019, Air Busan flight BX319 departs from Incheon for Shenzhen at 11.30 pm, touches down in Shenzhen on 14 November 2019 at 2.25 am before flight BX310 leaves Shenzhen for Incheon at 3.35 am and arrives in Incheon at 8.15 am.
Air Busan flies to Shenzhen from Wednesdays to Mondays, six times a week.

China Southern has confirmed that it is launching the Guangzhou-Kunming-Islamabad round-trip route on 25 December 2019 using its B737-800 aircraft. It returns to Guangzhou from Islamabad via Kunming on 26 December 2019. Currently, flight tickets are available for booking at ticket sales agencies and ticketing websites.
China Southern operates three flights a week between Guangzhou, Kunming and the Pakistani capital Islamabad. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the outbound flight CZ6701 departs from Guangzhou at 4.05 pm, transits in Kunming at 6.40 pm before taking off from Kunming at 8.10 pm and arrives in Islamabad at 11.20 pm on the same days.
The return flight CZ6702 departs from Islamabad at 12.50 am local time every Thursday, Saturday and Monday, and arrives in Kunming at 8.35 am (Beijing time). At 10.05 am, flight CZ6702 takes off for Guangzhou and touches down in Guangzhou at 12.15 pm.
According to the reporter's understanding, in 2018, China Southern's passenger traffic reached 140 million passengers, ranking first among Chinese airlines for 40 consecutive years. At present, China Southern Airlines has more than 3,000 flights a day to 224 destinations in more than 40 countries and regions, with more than 1,000 routes and more than 500,000 seats carrying more than 15 million passengers per year.

Hainan Airlines has announced that it is launching flights to Osaka Kansai from Lanzhou via Lianyungang on 25 November 2019 using its B737-800 aircraft. The airline will operate flights on Mondays and Wednesdays.

According to Dunhuang Airport in Gansu Province, China, Lanmei Airlines launches the world's first cross-border scheduled flight to Dunhuang from Siem Reap on 9 December 2019.
The Cambodian airline will operate scheduled flights to Dunhuang from 9 December 2019 to 24 February 2020 on Mondays.
On 9 December 2019, Lanmei Airlines flight LQ858 departs from Siem Reap for Dunhuang at 3 pm, touches down in Dunhuang at 9.35 pm before leaving Dunhuang for Siem Reap at 10.35 pm and arriving in Siem Reap at 3.30 am on 10 December 2019 under flight LQ859.
The flight duration to Dunhuang from Siem Reap is 5 hours 35 minutes whereas the duration of the reverse flight is 5 hours 55 minutes.
Dunhuang and Siem Reap are historic cultural cities where the UNESCO world heritage sites, Mogao Caves and Angkor Wat, are of proximity to the Dunhuang and Siem Reap Airports.

Shenzhen Airlines is introducing new routes from Shenzhen to Jeju, Penang and increasing the flight frequency on the Shenzhen - Osaka Kansai route in December 2019.
The inaugural flight to Jeju from Shenzhen begins on 15 December 2019 while the first flight to Penang from Shenzhen takes off on 18 December 2019.
On 15 December 2019, Shenzhen Airlines flight ZH9041 departs from Shenzhen for Jeju at 2.30 pm, arrives in Jeju at 5.50 pm before leaving Jeju for Shenzhen under flight ZH9042 at 7.25 pm and landing in Shenzhen at 10 pm. Flights between Shenzhen and Jeju are operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
On 18 December 2019, flight ZH8003 leaves Shenzhen for Penang at 2.10 pm, touches down in 5.50 pm before leaving Penang for Shenzhen at 6.50 pm and landing in Shenzhen at 10.25 pm under flight ZH8004.
Shenzhen Airlines' flights to Penang are operated on Mondays, Wednesdays and weekends.
From 1 December 2019, Shenzhen Airlines is introducing a second daily flight frequency on the Shenzhen - Osaka Kansai route. The additional flights are ZH8063 and ZH8064.
Flight ZH8063 takes off from Shenzhen for Kansai at 3.20 pm, lands in Kansai Airport at 7.55 pm before leaving Kansai at 9.50 pm under flight ZH8064 and arriving in Shenzhen at 1.05 am on the next day.

Jeju Air launches non-stop scheduled flight from Muan to Sanya on 9 November 2019. The flight leaves Sanya for Muan on 10 November 2019.
According to Jeju Air, its flight 7C8613 departs from Muan for Sanya at 9.40 pm, arrives in Sanya on 10 November 2019 at 2.20 am before leaving Sanya for Muan at 3.25 am and touching down in Muan at 7.10 am under flight 7C8614.
Jeju Air flies to Sanya on Wednesday and Saturday evenings and returns to Muan on Thursday and Sunday mornings.
The flights are operated using B737-800 aircraft.
