On 20 June 2026, 9air unveiled new route announcement on its web-site, stating that it is launching scheduled flight from Yinchuan to Changi via Guangzhou on 10 August 2026 while its inaugural flight from Changi to Yinchuan via Guangzhou takes off on 11 August 2026.
On 10 August 2026, according to schedules, 9air flight AQ1275 departs from Yinchuan for Changi via Guangzhou at 3.20 pm, stops over in Guangzhou at 6.30 pm before taking off from Guangzhou for Changi at 8.05 pm and landing in Changi Airport Terminal 4 at 12.10 am on 11 August 2026.
On 11 August 2026, 9air flight AQ1276 leaves Changi for Yinchuan via Guangzhou at 1.10 am, transits in Guangzhou at 5.20 am before departing from Guangzhou for Yinchuan at 6.55 am and arriving in Yinchuan at 10.10 am.
On 17 July 2026, 9air successfully held a promotional event for its new Changi-Guangzhou-Yinchuan route in Singapore. Mr. Cao Zhigui, Vice President of 9air, attended the event and delivered a speech. Representatives from Singapore Changi Airport and Ningxia Airport, along with approximately 90 representatives from the local tourism and travel industries, participated in the event.
The promotional event focused on showcasing 9air's operational plans, flight services, and related product policies for the new Changi-Guangzhou-Yinchuan route. It comprehensively demonstrated 9air's brand philosophy and route advantages, effectively enhancing its brand awareness and influence in the Singapore market. This new route will build an air bridge for travel and trade between China and Singapore, providing more travel options for tourists and business travellers from both countries. It also represents a significant step forward in 9air's strategic development in Southeast Asia and Singapore.
On the same morning, 9air held business meetings with Singapore Changi Airport Group and Ningxia Airport to discuss the preparations for the route's launch and subsequent operational cooperation, engaging in in-depth exchanges on development opportunities in the aviation markets of China and Singapore.
9air flies to Changi from Yinchuan and Guangzhou daily with its B737-800 jet.
9air is the low-cost carrier subsidiary of Juneyao Air, which has regular flights from Pudong and Wuxi to Changi.
