Chongqing Airlines reopens routes to Male, Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket

From 8 January 2025, Chongqing Airlines restores three international routes to Male, Ho Chi Minh City and Phuket.

The aim of gradually restoring multiple international routes is to continue to deepen the international market in South Asia and Southeast Asia, and fully meet the travel needs of domestic and foreign tourists to Chongqing.

Chongqing Airlines resumes flight to Male via Colombo on 8 January 2025

Among the routes, the Chongqing = Colombo = Male route will be restored from 8 January to 29 March 2025, and flights operate every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The outbound flight number is CZ553, and the return flight number is CZ554. It will take off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 9.55 am every Monday and Friday, and arrive at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport at 1.50 pm; take off from Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport at 2.55 pm and arrive at Velana International Airport, Male, at 4 pm. The return flight will take off from Male at 5.20 pm and arrive in Colombo at 7.20 pm; take off from Colombo at 8.25 pm and arrive at Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 4.30 am the next day.

Every Wednesday, the outbound flight takes off from Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport at 9.05 am and arrives at Colombo Bandaranaike International Airport at 12.55 pm; takes off from Colombo at 1.55 pm and arrives in Male at 3.10 pm. The return flight takes off from Velana International Airport at 5.05 pm and arrives in Colombo at 7.15 pm; takes off from Colombo at 8.25 pm and arrives in Chongqing at 4.30 am the next day. 

All the above times are local time and are subject to air traffic conditions.

Chongqing Airlines' Ho Chi Minh City flight resumes on 21 January 2025

From 21 January to 8 February 2025, the direct flight from Chongqing to Ho Chi Minh City will be resumed. Operation days are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

There are no plans to resume flight to Hanoi from Chongqing.

Chongqing Airlines resumes flight to Phuket on 18 January 2025

From 18 January to 9 February 2025, the direct flight from Chongqing to Phuket will be resumed with flights operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. 

Chongqing Airlines has withdrawn its plan to open a scheduled route to Phuket from Yichang.
