Following Greater Bay Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines becomes the second passenger carrier from Hong Kong to launch scheduled flight to Sendai on 18 December 2024.
On 18 December 2024, according to schedules, Hong Kong Airlines flight HX584 departs from Hong Kong for Sendai at 9.40 am, touches down in Sendai at 2.35 pm before leaving Sendai for Hong Kong at 3.35 pm and arriving in Hong Kong at 8 pm under flight HX585.
The above flights are operated by Hong Kong Airlines' A320 aircraft on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Greater Bay Airlines commences flight to Sendai on 7 December 2024 with its B737-800 while HK Express is scheduled to begin commercial flight to Sendai on 17 January 2025 with its A320 aircraft.
