Cambodia Angkor Air is approved to change its official name to Air Cambodia, livery change will take time

In order to further play the role of the national flag carrier as an engine for the economic and tourism development of the Kingdom of Cambodia, the Cambodian government has recently approved the change of the English name of Cambodia Angkor Air from Cambodia Angkor Air to Air Cambodia, and the official web-site address of Air Cambodia will be announced soon. The livery change, however, will take time to proceed.

Air Cambodia schedules new return flight to Guangzhou from 13 November 2024


From 13 November 2024, one evening flight from Phnom Penh to Guangzhou will be added every day to facilitate frequent travel demand. The additional flight schedule to Guangzhou is as follows:

Air Cambodia flight K6610 departs from Phnom Penh for Guangzhou at 12.10 am, touches down in Gaungzhou at 4 am before leaving Guangzhou for Phnom Penh at 5 am and arriving in Phnom Penh at 6.50 pm under flight K6611.

Air Cambodia currently flies to Guangzhou daily with flight K6668 departing from Phnom Penh for Guangzhou at 8.25 am, reaching Guangzhou at 12.15 pm before taking off from Guangzhou for Phnom Penh at 1.25 pm and arriving in Phnom Penh at 3.15 pm under flight K6669.

Air Cambodia flies to Zhengzhou thrice weekly

 
Starting from 27 October 2024, Air Cambodia's star route Phnom Penh to Zhengzhou will be adjusted to one flight each on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Flight K6894 leaves Phnom Penh for Zhengzhou at 12.55 am, arrives in Zhengzhou at 6.05 am before taking off from Zhengzhou for Phnom Penh at 7.05 am and landing in Phnom Penh at 10.20 am under flight K6895, which is more convenient and time-saving for passengers.

Twice-weekly flights to Nanning at different timings


At the same time, the flight from Phnom Penh to Nanning will be adjusted to one flight each on Thursdays and Sundays, and the flight will be adjusted to depart from Phnom Penh in the afternoon. On Thursdays, flight K6896 departs from Phnom Penh for Nanning at 2.50 pm, touches down in Nanning at 5.55 pm before taking off from Nanning for Phnom Penh at 6.55 pm and arriving in Phnom Penh at 8.10 pm under flight K6897.

On Sundays, K6896 leaves Phnom Penh for Nanning at 5.55 pm, lands in Nanning at 9.05 pm before departing from Nanning for Phnom Penh at 9.55 pm and arriving in Phnom Penh at 10.55 pm under flight K6897.

Air Cambodia flies thrice-weekly to Hong Kong


The flight from Phnom Penh to Hong Kong will be adjusted to one flight each on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and the schedule will be adjusted to depart from Phnom Penh in the afternoon and return in the evening. The return flight schedules on these days are as follows:-

Flight K6680 takes off from Phnom Penh for Hong Kong at 4.55 pm, lands in Hong Kong at 8.25 pm before leaving Hong Kong for Phnom Penh at 9.25 pm and touching down in Phnom Penh at 10.55 pm under flight K6681.

The take-off and landing times above are all local time and may subject to change under air traffic control requirements.

T'way Air schedules second daily flight between Incheon and Changi from 21 November 2024

T'way Air, that currently operates daily scheduled flight from Incheon to Changi, is introducing second daily scheduled flight on the route with effect from 21 November 2024, according to AeroRoutes.

According to schedules filed, the second daily flight from 21 November 2024 is as follows:-

T'way Air flight TW173 departs from Incheon for Changi at 3.30 pm, touches down in Changi Terminal 3 at 9.25 pm on 21 November 2024 before leaving Changi for Incheon at 11 pm and landing in Incheon at 6.35 am under flight TW174 on 22 November 2024.

The planned schedules are more favourable for travel to Incheon as the current T'way Air outbound flight from Changi for Incheon takes off very late at 2.15 am.

The existing daily flight schedule of T'way Air, TW171 (Incheon-Changi), 6.50 pm - 12.45 am / TW172 (Changi-Incheon), 2.15 am - 9.50 am, will continue after the second daily flight debuts.

The above flights are operated by A330-300 aircraft.


ITA Airways flies thrice weekly to Suvarnabhumi from 30 March 2025

ITA Airways, currently scheduling flights four times a week to Suvarnabhumi from Rome with effect from 16 November 2024 to 27 March 2025, will fly thrice weekly to Suvarnabhumi from 30 March 2025.

According to schedules, the summer schedules of ITA Airways to Suvarnabhumi are as follows:-

Flight AZ758 leaves Rome for Suvarnabhumi at 3.15 pm, touches down in Suvarnabhumi at 7.05 am before taking off from Suvarnabhumi for Rome at 12.15 pm and landing in Rome at 7.30 pm under flight AZ759.

ITA Airways flies to Suvarnabhumi with its A330-900neo on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer season and departs from Suvarnabhumi for Rome on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

During the winter season, flight AZ758 operates services on Saturdays, Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at the same timings.

Suvarnabhumi is ITA Airways' second airport destination in Asia. The Italian national flag carrier's first Asian airport destination is Haneda, Tokyo, to which it operates daily scheduled flights with its A350-900 aircraft.

Depending on travel demand, ITA Airways' future airport destinations in Asia include Changi and Incheon.

SalamAir, Oman's low-cost airline, launches flight to Yerevan on 28 December 2024.

On 28 December 2024, according to schedules, SalamAir flight OV811 departs from Muscat for Yerevan at 9 am, touches down in Yerevan at 12.40 pm before leaving Yerevan for Muscat at 1.25 pm and landing in Muscat at 4.45 pm under flight OV812.

SalamAir's A320neo operates the above flights.

Bamboo Airways launches daily flight to Don Mueang from 26 November 2024

Bamboo Airways is reopening international flights. This time, it launches scheduled daily flight to Don Mueang, Bangkok's city airport, instead of Suvarnabhumi, from Ho Chi Minh City in November 2024.

According to schedules, from 26 November 2024 onwards, Bamboo Airways flight QH323 departs from Ho Chi Minh City for Don Mueang at 11.15 am, touches down in Don Mueang at 12.55 pm before leaving Don Mueang for Ho Chi Minh City at 2 pm and arriving in Ho Chi Minh City at 3.45 pm under flight QH324.

Bamboo Airways flies to Don Mueang with its Airbus A321 aircraft.

Cambodia Airways launches flight from Phnom Penh to Guangzhou on 29 October 2024.

On 29 October 2024, Cambodia Airways flight KR937 departs from Phnom Penh for Guangzhou at 11 pm, touches down in Guangzhou at 2.25 am on 30 October 2024 before leaving Guangzhou for Phnom Penh at 3.35 am and arriving in Phnom Penh at 5.30 am under flight KR938.

Cambodia Airways flies to Guangzhou with its A319 aircraft on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.


Vietnam Airlines launches flights to Munich from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on 5 and 7 October 2024

Vietnam Airlines has announced its launch of scheduled flights to Munich, Germany, from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

On 5 October 2024, Vietnam Airlines flight VN35 departs from Hanoi for Munich at 11.50 pm, touches down in Munich at 6.05 am on the same day before leaving Munich for Hanoi at 1.35 pm and arriving in Hanoi at 6.15 am on 6 October 2024 under flight VN34.

Vietnam Airlines flies to Munich from Hanoi with 787-9 Dreamliner on Fridays and Sundays and returns to Hanoi on Saturdays and Mondays.


On 7 October 2024, Vietnam Airlines flight VN33 leaves Ho Chi Minh City for Munich at 11.50 pm, lands in Munch at 6.20 am before taking off from Munich for Ho Chi Minh City at 12.30 pm and touching down in Ho Chi Minh City at 5.35 am on 8 October 2024 under flight VN32.

Vietnam Airlines flies to Munich from Ho Chi Minh City with 787-9 Dreamliner on Mondays and from 4 December 2024 the additional Wednesday services will be introduced.

Vietnam Airlines has announced that it is launching long-haul scheduled flight from Hanoi to Milan, Italy, on 1 July 2025.

According to schedules, Vietnam Airlines flight VN73 departs from Hanoi for Milan at 1 am on 1 July 2025, touches down in Milan at 7.40 am local time before leaving Milan for Hanoi at 12.30 pm on the same day and arriving in Hanoi at 4.30 am on 2 July 2025 local time under flight VN72.

Vietnam Airlines flies to Milan with its 787-9 Dreamliner on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It lands in Hanoi on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Aircalin launches flight to Suvarnabhumi and Paris on 11 December 2024

Aircalin, the airline of New Caledonia, launches long-haul flight to Paris via Suvarnabhumi on 11 December 2024.

According to schedules, Aircalin flight SB500 departs from Noumea for Paris via Suvaranabhumi at 1.45 am, transits in Suvaranabhumi at 7.55 am before leaving Suvarnabhumi for Paris at 9.55 am and landing in Paris CDG at 5.25 pm on 11 December 2024.

Then at 8.30 pm on 11 December 2024 Paris time, flight SB501 takes off from Paris CDG for Noumea via Suvarnabhumi, stops over in Suvarnabhumi at 2.40 pm on 12 December 2024 before departing from Suvarnabhumi for Noumea at 4.40 pm and arriving in Noumea at 6.30 am on 13 December 2024.

Aircalin flies to Suvarnabhumi and Paris CDG on Wednesdays and Saturdays with A330-900neo aircraft.

With the twice-weekly flights to Suvarnabhumi and Paris, Aircalin is reducing its flight frequency to Changi from four flights a week to three flights weekly, Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays from 9 January 2025.

Japanese low-cost carrier Zipair launches non-stop scheduled flight from Narita to Houston on 4 March 2025.

According to schedules, from 4 March 2025 to 8 March 2025, Zipair flight ZG16 departs from Narita for Houston at 10 am, touches down in Houston at 6.45 am before leaving Houston for Narita at 8.45 am under flight ZG15 and arriving in Narita at 1.50 pm the next day.

From 9 March 2025 to 29 March 2025, flight ZG16 is scheduled to arrive in Houston at 7.45 am while the departure time remains unchanged and leaves Houston for Narita under flight ZG15 at 9.45 am, landing in Narita at 1.50 pm. 

Zipair flies to Houston on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays with its 787-8 Dreamliner.

Tianjin Airlines, the Tianjin low-cost subsidiary of Hainan Airlines, launches scheduled flight from Guiyang to Changi on 15 November 2024.

According to Tianjin Airlines' web-site, the airline flight GS7969 departs from Guiyang for Changi at 11.25 pm on 15 November 2024, touches down in Changi Terminal 4 at 4 am on 16 November 2024 before leaving Changi for Guiyang at 5.10 am and landing in Guiyang at 9.15 am under flight GS7970.

Tianjin Airlines flies to Changi from Guiyang on Fridays, Sundays and Mondays with its Airbus A320neo aircraft and returns to Guiyang on Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Air Serbia launches flight to Pudong on 11 January 2025

Air Serbia launches non-stop scheduled flight to Pudong from Belgrade on 11 January 2025.

Vietjet Air has announced that it is launching daily flight from Hanoi to KLIA from 28 November 2024.

On 28 November 2024, Vietjet Air flight VJ905 departs from Hanoi for KLIA at 7.20 am, lands in KLIA at 11.40 am before leaving KLIA for Hanoi at 12.40 pm and landing in Hanoi at 3.05 pm under flight VJ906.

Vietjet Air flies to KLIA with its A320 aircraft.

SpiceJet to add 10 more aircraft to its fleet by November 2024

According to Simpleflying, SpiceJet announced plans to add 10 aircraft by the end of November 2024 year to cope with the peak demand at the end of the year and the festive season. Of these, seven aircraft will be obtained through leasing, and the other three will be put back into service from the previously grounded fleet.

SpiceJet recently raised 30 billion rupees through institutional placement, attracting top companies such as Morgan Stanley Asia, Goldman Sachs (Singapore) and Tata Mutual Fund. The airline directly linked the resumption of operations with financing, saying that the new capital will play a key role in restoring existing aircraft, purchasing new aircraft, investing in technology and expanding new markets.

SpiceJet Chairman and Managing Director Ajay Singh said that the airline will continue to meet the growing demand for air travel while strengthening its operational capabilities. "With this financing, SpiceJet has the ability to provide better services and expand its route network. We are committed to providing seamless, reliable and affordable travel."

Air Premia launches directed scheduled flight from Incheon to Hong Kong on 24 January 2025.

According to schedules, Air Premia flight YP801 departs from Incheon for Hong Kong at 8.20 am, touches down in Hong Kong at 11.15 am before leaving Hong Kong for Incheon at 12.45 pm and arriving in Incheon at 5.15 pm under flight YP802.

Air Premia flies to Hong Kong on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays with its 787-9 Dreamliner jet. 

Aero Mongolia resumes seasonal flight to Hanoi on 16 December 2024

Mongolian airlines have so far operated seasonal flights to Southeast Asia airports. With MIAT Mongolian Airlines announcing repeated flight resumptions to Suvarnabhumi during the winter season, starting 25 December 2024, Aero Mongolia is resuming seasonal flight to Hanoi from 16 December 2024.

According to Aero Mongolia, its flight to Hanoi resumes on 16 December 2024 and will continue until 24 February 2025.

According to schedules, Aero Mongolia flight M0535 takes off this time from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN) for Hanoi at 8.10 pm on Mondays, lands in Hanoi at 11.10 pm before leaving Hanoi for UBN at 12.10 am and arriving in UBN at 6.10 am under flight M0536 on Tuesdays. 

Aero Mongolia previously operated summer scheduled flights in 2023 from UBN to Hanoi until June 2024.

Uzbekistan Airways launches non-stop flight to Denpasar on 3 December 2024

Uzbekistan Airways, that currently operates weekly flight to Cengkareng, launches non-stop scheduled flight from Tashkent to Denpasar, the capital of Bali, Indonesia, on 3 December 2024.

According to schedules, on 3 December 2024, Uzbekistan Airways flight HY543 departs from Tashkent for Denpasar at 11 pm, touches down in Denpasar at 11 am local time, before leaving Denpasar for Tashkent at 12.15 pm and arriving in Tashkent at 6.35 pm under flight HY544 on 4 December 2024.

Uzbekistan Airways flies to Denpasar with its 787-8 Dreamliner jet on Tuesdays and returns to Tashkent on Wednesdays.
