MIAT launches Dreamliner flight to Ho Chi Minh City on 10 December 2024

MIAT Mongolian Airlines launches its 787-9 Dreamliner flight from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN), located in Khoshig Valley, to Ho Chi Minh City on 10 December 2024.

On 10 December 2024, MIAT flight OM711 departs from UBN to Ho Chi Minh City at 11.55 am, touches down in Ho Chi Minh City at 5.25 pm before leaving Ho Chi Minh City for UBN at 6.25 pm and landing in UBN at 1.35 am on 11 December 2024 under flight OM712.

The Dreamliner flights are operated on Tuesdays and Fridays until March 2025 when its B737-800 will be utilized on the route from 4 March 2025. Previously, the airline operated 737 MAX 8 flights from 4 January 2024 to 26 January 2024.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines plans to launch Dreamliner flights to Changi and possibly to cities in Australia and the United States from UBN in 2025.

Before the winter season of 2024, MIAT's 787-9 Dreamliner operates scheduled flights to Incheon, Frankfurt and once in a fortnight to Narita. Its lone B767-300ER was put back to service for flights to Istanbul and on occasional charter flights to airports like Phu Quoc, KLIA and Changi.
