According to Changi Airport ichangi mobile app flight status, on 9 January 2022, United Airlines Dreamliner 787-9 resumes its longest long-haul flight from Singapore to San Francisco since the start of the pandemic.
On 9 January 2022, flight UA2 departs from Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 3 for San Francisco at 10.10 am, and according to Simple Flying, it arrives in San Francisco at 8.50 pm the same day U.S. time.
As for the inaugural resumption flight from San Francisco, the exact date of the first resumption flight UA1 is not confirmed although Simple Flying reports the date is "from 5 January 2022" onwards.
Searches on the United Airlines official web-site and ichangi app cannot confirm the exact date of the first San Franciso-Singapore resumption flight. Aircraft-spotters have to rely on FlightRadar24 and Changi Airport web-site for the updated flight status.
Simple Flying reported flight UA1 plans to leave San Francisco for Singapore at 10.30 pm and "arrives two days later" at 7.40 am (https://simpleflying.com/united-singapore-relaunch-january/).
On 7 January 2022, flight UA1 landed in Changi Airport at 7.41 am. Scheduled time is 7.40 am.
According to United Airlines' schedule plan, flight UA1 arrives in Changi Airport on Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays while UA2 leaves for San Francisco on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
