Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam Airlines has unveiled new uniforms for its in-flight crew, aiming to create a fresh image for its brand. The airline has kept the traditional ao dai dress for female flight attendants, but changed the colour from red to blue, for Economy Class cabin crew, and yellow, for Business Class cabin attendants.

Pilots and male attendants will continue to wear white shirts, but there are some changes in the colours of their ties and the patterns on their hats.

The new uniforms are designed by renowned Vietnamese fashion designer Minh Hanh.

Vietnam Airlines staff started wearing their new uniforms on some international flights on Tuesday.
