Hunnu Air begins direct service to Paris from Ulaanbaatar on 9 June 2014

Hunnu Air, Mongolia's largest private airline, begins Mongolia's first direct flight to Paris from Ulaanbaatar on 9 June 2014 using its Airbus A319 aircraft and later its newly-acquired Airbus A330 aircraft.

On 9 June, Hunnu Air flight MR8201 departs from Ulaanbaatar at 7.40 am and arrives in Paris-Charles de Gaulle International Airport at 1 pm. 1 hour 20 minutes later, flight MR8202 launches its first flight from Paris for Ulaanbaatar at 2.20 pm and touches down in Ulaanbaatar at 7.05 am on 10 June.

In November 2013, Hunnu Air announced that it will begin its first long-haul flight to Paris in mid-2014, which will follow by Singapore by end of 2014 or early 2015 or by 2016.

In June 2014, Hunnu Air will resume twice-weekly flights from Ulaanbaatar to Shanghai-Pudong on 7 June.

Before June 2014, Hunnu Air flies from Ulaanbaatar to Hong Kong, Suvarnabhumi, Manzhouli, Hailar, from Choibalsan to Manzhouli and Hailar, and operates an extensive domestic flight network in Mongolia. With the additions of Paris and Shanghai to its route network, it will fly to six international airports from 9 June.
