Scoot, the long-haul flight subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is launching thrice-weekly scheduled flights to Seoul-Incheon from Singapore via Taipei Taoyuan on 29 May 2013 using its Boeing B777-200 aircraft. Thrice-weekly flights are on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
On 29 May, Scoot flight TZ206 departs Singapore Changi Airport Terminal 2 at 1.35 pm and transits in Taipei at 6.15 pm for one hour before ascending to the sky at 7.15 pm and it arrives in Seoul-Incheon International Airport at 10.35 pm. One hour later, flight TZ205 departs Seoul-Incheon at 11.45 pm, transits in Taipei Taoyuan at 1.25 am for one hour before proceeding on its onward flight to Singapore at 2.25, touching down in Singapore at 6.45 am on the next day.
Scoot hopes to launch direct flights to Seoul once new long-range Dreamliner aircraft are received within the next few years.
