Air Busan launches Incheon=Qingdao flights on 2 September 2022

On 2 September 2022, Air Busan launches weekly scheduled flight from Incheon to Qingdao at 10.15 am under flight BX325, touches down in Qingdao at 10.55 am before leaving Qingdao for Incheon at 3 pm and arriving in Incheon at 5.40 pm under flight BX326.

Air Busan flies to Qingdao from Incheon on Fridays with its Airbus A321 aircraft. It also operates regular flights to Qingdao from Busan.

Air Busan's competitors Jeju Air and Qingdao Airlines also operate scheduled flights on the route to Incheon from Qingdao.

Qingdao Airlines launches scheduled flight to Ho Chi Minh City on 29 August 2022

Qingdao Airlines has launched its first scheduled flight to Ho Chi Minh City from Qingdao on 29 August 2022. Ho Chi Minh City is the airline's second international destination after Seoul-Incheon.

On 29 August 2022, Qingdao Airlines flight QW9907 departs from Qingdao for Ho Chi Minh City at 9.30 am, touches down in Ho Chi Minh City at 1.20 pm before leaving Ho Chi Minh City for Qingdao at 2.50 pm and arriving in Qingdao at 8.55 pm under flight QW9908 on the same day,

Qingdao Airlines flies to Ho Chi Minh City on Mondays with its Airbus A320neo aircraft. Passengers travelling with Qingdao Airlines from Ho Chi Minh City can connect to its domestic destinations in Qingdao to explore other parts of mainland China.

VietJet Air to launch Cam Ranh=Almaty flights in October 2022

International direct flights between Cam Ranh and Almaty will be officially launched in October 2022, the Kazakh International News Agency reported.

Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of Kazakhstan, Talhat Rastayev, met with Vietnamese Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Pham Tai Nimai and VietJet Air representative Nguyen Chi Tam on 23 August 2022. During the talks, the Vietnamese side stated that it is ready to launch regular international flights with Kazakhstan.

VietJet Air plans to launch flights between Cam Ranh and Almaty in October 2022. In addition, the airline plans to launch flights between Cam Ranh and Nur-Sultan.

According to the plan, international flights between Kazakhstan and Vietnam will be operated 2-3 times a week by VietJet Air's A330 passenger aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines launches Danang=Kuala Lumpur flights on 2 September 2022

Vietnam Airlines launches Danang=Kuala Lumpur flights on 2 September 2022 with its Airbus A321 aircraft.

On 2 September 2022, Vietnam Airlines flight VN687 departs from Danang for Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in Sepang at 1 am, touches down in KLIA at 4.45 am before leaving KLIA for Danang at 6.45 am and arriving in Danang at 8.20 am under flight VN686.

Vietnam Airlines flies to KLIA from Danang on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, It also flies to KLIA from Ho Chi Minh City.

Air Premia launches non-stop passenger flight to Ho Chi Minh City on 6 October 2022

Air Premia, South Korea's newest long-haul airline, launches non-stop passenger flight from Incheon to Ho Chi Minh City on 6 October 2022, according to Air Premia's flight search database.

On 6 October 2022, Air Premia flight YP651 departs from Incheon for Ho Chi Minh City at 6.30 pm, touches down in Ho Chi Minh City at 10 pm before leaving Ho Chi Minh City for Incheon at 11.10 pm and arriving in Incheon at 5.50 am under flight YP652 on 7 October 2022.

The flight is operated by Air Premia's Dreamliner 787-9 registered HL8517.

Air Premia flies to Ho Chi Minh City from Incheon on Thursdays, Fridays, Sundays and Tuesdays and lands in Incheon on Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays and Wednesdays.

Ho Chi Minh City is Air Premia's second city destination after Singapore.

The inaugural flight to Ho Chi Minh City might be rescheduled to 22 October 2022 due to "unforeseen circumstances", the airline mentioned in a statement.

Solomon Airlines launches charter flight from Honiara to Guangzhou via Biak on 6 August 2022

According to Solomon Airlines, it has operated its first charter flight to Guangzhou from Biak, Indonesia, on 1 February 2021. This is the first pandemic flight of Solomon Airlines to China. 

The flight to Biak is made possible by a ferry flight from Brisbane on 31 January 2021. From Biak to Guangzhou on 1 February 2021, the flight is empty.

In 2022, Solomon Airlines launches the private charter flight to Guangzhou from Honiara via Biak on 6 August 2022.

According to FlightRadar24, Solomon Airlines flight IE635 departs from Honiara for Guangzhou via Biak at 9.45 am, transits in Biak at 11.06 am before taking off for Guangzhou on 6 August 2022. The landing time in Guangzhou is unknown.

On 7 August 2022, flight IE636 left Guangzhou for Biak and arrived in Biak at 3.42 pm before departing from Biak for Honiara at 4.44 pm and touching down in Honiara at 10.19 pm.

The Honiara=Biak=Guangzhou flights are operated by Solomon Airlines' A320 aircraft while Honiara and Guangzhou are the first two international destinations of Biak airport.

Cambodia Airways launches scheduled flight to Singapore on 4 November 2022

On 12 August 2022, Cambodia Airways announces at NATAS Holidays 2022 that its Airbus aircraft A319 launches direct scheduled flight from Phnom Penh to Singapore Changi Airport on 4 November 2022.

On 4 November 2022, Cambodia Airways flight KR751 departs from Phnom Penh for Singapore at 7.40 am, touches down in Changi at 10.30 am before leaving Changi for Phnom Penh at 11.30 am and arriving in Phnom Penh at 12.30 pm under flight KR752.

Cambodia Airways flies between Phnom Penh and Singapore on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.
