XiamenAir launches charter flight to Bishkek on 19 March 2021

According to XiamenAir, it has launched its first charter flight to Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, from Beijing Capital on 19 March 2021. The charter flight delivers Sinopharm SARS-CoV-2 vaccines only to Kyrgyzstan. On the same day, its outbound flight from Bishkek departs for Xiamen.

On 19 March 2021, XiamenAir flight MF8001 leaves Beijing Capital for Bishkek at 9.22 am, touches down in Bishkek at 1.08 pm before departing from Bishkek for Xiamen at 3.18 pm and touching down in Xiamen at 10.20 pm under flight MF8002.

The charter flights are operated once by XiamenAir Dreamliner 787-9. Immediately on 20 March 2021, the 787-9 is deployed on its scheduled passenger route to Singapore.

Colorful Guizhou Airlines launches Beihai - Luzhou route on 30 March 2021

Colorful Guizhou Airlines launches direct scheduled flight from Beihai to Luzhou on 30 March 2021. 

On 30 March 2021, Colorful Guizhou Airlines flight GY7243 departs from Beihai for Luzhou at 5.35 pm, touches down in Luzhou at 7.35 pm before leaving Luzhou for Beihai at 8.15 pm and arriving in Beihai at 10.10 pm under flight GY7244. These timings are effective on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Colorful Guizhou Airlines operates a fleet of 9 ERJ-190 and 4 Airbus A320neo jets. It plans to import a further three A320neo jets later in 2021.

Urumqi Air launches scheduled flights from Urumqi to Hangzhou via Hanzhong on 28 March 2021, four times a week.

Colorful Guizhou Airlines to launch more than 9 new routes in summer and autumn 2021

Starting from 28 March 2021, Colorful Guizhou Airlines will launch a number of new summer and autumn flight routes to facilitate the travel of passengers, and will also foster the construction and development of Guizhou Province's tourism in 2021.

In the new season, Colorful Guizhou Airlines has optimized and adjusted its route network. The planned new routes include Guiyang - Luzhou - Hefei, Guiyang - Yinchuan, Huai'an - Chongqing, Guiyang-Shantou, Maotai - Shantou, Yibin - Shantou, Yibin - Jinan, Beihai - Luzhou , Xichang - Zhengzhou and other routes to further enhance the network accessibility of the Chinese airline industry.

Pacific Airlines approved to operate charter flights to mainland China

On 5 March 2021, CAAC announces that Pacific Airlines has been approved since 24 February 2021 to operate unlimited number of charter flights between any airport in Vietnam and any airport in China.

India Government to sell Air India Express and other Air India's subsidiaries

According to Indian media reports, the Indian government plans to sell Air India's continuously profitable ground handling subsidiary Air India Airport Services and Air India Express.

According to sources, the Indian Ministry of Finance will soon release a preliminary document to interested bidders.

Since 2014, Air India Airport Services has been profitable. The company provides ground services at 81 airports in India. Air India Express operates profitable flights with India and to the Middle East, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.

In addition, Air India Engineering Services Ltd will also be sold.

The source said that the Indian government will sell these profitable subsidiaries because despite its efforts, the debt-ridden Air India is still unattended.
