Air Niugini sponsors NATAS Travel Holidays 2025 at its Papua New Guinea booth at Singapore Expo from 15 August 2025 to 17 August 2025. The attendance aims to celebrate Air Niugini's 50th Anniversary with the public in Singapore and promote Papua New Guinea tourism and travel to the public.




Air Niugini operates B737-800 flights on Wednesdays and Sundays to Changi and B767-300ER flights to Changi on Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays.

Papua New Guinea is the designated Destination Partner of NATAS Travel Holidays 2025.

China Airlines launches Taoyuan-Phoenix-Los Angeles flights on 3 December 2025

China Airlines launches scheduled flight from Taoyuan to Los Angeles via Phoenix on 3 December 2025.

On 3 December 2025, according to schedules, China Airlines flight CI36 departs from Taoyuan for Phoenix at 10.55 am, touches down in Phoenix at 8 am before leaving Phoenix for Los Angeles at 11.55 am and landing in Los Angeles at 12.20 pm under flight CI35.

At 2.50 pm on 3 December 2025 local time, flight CI35 proceeds on the way back from Los Angeles to Taoyuan non-stop and arrives in Taoyuan at 9.30 pm local time.

According to the airline Facebook, MIAT Mongolian Airlines launches scheduled flight from Chinggis Khaan Airport (UBN) to Changi on 4 November 2025. Chinggis Khaan is the new Ulaanbaatar international airport located in Khoshig Valley, Mongolia.

On 4 November 2025, according to schedules, MIAT flight OM709 departs from Chinggis
Khaan for Changi at 10.35 am, touches down in Changi Airport Terminal 3 at 6 pm before leaving Changi for Chinggis Khaan at 7.25 pm and arriving in Chinggis Khaan at 2.55 am on 5 November 2025 under flight OM710.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines flies to Changi non-stop with its B767-300ER aircraft on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Previously, the airline operated charter flights to Changi via KLIA or Hanoi and during the last scheduled passenger flights before the pandemic transits via Beijing Capital Airport. It also had direct scheduled charter flights to Darwin via Changi during the pandemic.

Belarusian airline Belavia launches long-haul scheduled flight from Minsk to Sanya on 8 October 2025.

According to schedules, on 8 October 2025, Belavia flight B2753 departs from Minsk for Sanya at 4.40 am, lands in Sanya at 8 pm before leaving Sanya for Minsk at 10 pm and touching down in Minsk at 4.20 am on 9 October 2025 under flight B2754.

Belavia flies to Sanya on Wednesdays with its A330-200 aircraft acquired from the black market, which changed previously ownerships from Emirates to defunct Onur Air and shell company Magic Air based in Gambia.

Etihad Airways launches flight to Tashkent on 17 March 2026

Etihad Airways launches direct scheduled flight from Abu Dhabi to Tashkent on 17 March 2026. It flies six times weekly under the flight pairs EY828/EY829 and EY830/EY831 with its A321LR aircraft to Tashkent.

On 17 March 2026, according to schedules, Etihad flight EY828 takes off from Abu Dhabi for Tashkent at 2.55 pm, lands in Tashkent at 6.55 pm before leaving Tashkent for Abu Dhabi at 9.20 pm and arriving in Abu Dhabi at 12.10 am under flight EY829 on 18 March 2026.

Etihad Airways is also resuming scheduled flights to Yerevan, the capital of Armenia in Western Asia and Tbilisi, Georgia's capital at the crossroads of Western Asia and Eastern Europe, on 9 March 2026 and 13 March 2026 respectively with A321LR.

Juneyao Air resumes flight from Changi to Wuxi on 30 September 2025

Juneyao Air launches A320neo flight from Wuxi to Changi on 29 September 2025 but its outgoing A320neo flight from Changi to Wuxi actually begins on 30 September 2025.

According to Juneyao Air's schedules, its flight HO1561 departs from Wuxi for Changi on 29 September 2025 at 8.40 pm, is expected to touch down in Changi at 2.15 am on 30 September 2025 before leaving Changi for Wuxi at 3.15 am and arriving in Wuxi at 8.50 am under flight HO1562.

Juneyao Air flies to Changi from Wuxi on Fridays, Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays. It takes off from Changi for Wuxi on Saturdays, Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The flights, subjected to deployment arrangements, are operated by A320neo/A320ceo aircraft.

Juneyao Air previously launches A320ceo flight to Changi from Wuxi on 11 January 2021 and the A320 flights between both airports continue until July 2021. Jetstar Asia took over the route from Juneyao Air on 28 December 2023 until its operations closure on 31 July 2025.

By 29 September 2025, the Chinese airline has operated scheduled flights from Pudong and Wuxi to Changi Airport Terminal 4.

Air Cambodia plans to launch scheduled flight from Techo to Narita via Fuzhou Changle Airport on 15 May 2026. 

On 15 May 2026, according to schedules, Air Cambodia flight K65000 departs from Techo for Narita via Fuzhou at 7 am, transits in Fuzhou at 11.30 am before leaving for Narita at 12.50 pm and arriving in Narita at 5 pm.

At 6.30 pm, flight K6501 is scheduled to take off from Narita for Techo via Fuzhou, stop over in Fuzhou at 9.30 pm before departing from Fuzhou for Techo at 10.50 pm and landing in Techo at 1.25 am on 16 May 2026.

Sichuan Airlines launches flights to Denpasar and Sapporo on the 26th of September and October 2025

Sichuan Airlines has lately announced new routes to Denpasar and Sapporo from Tianfu. The inaugural flight to Denpasar from Tianfu takes place on 26 September 2025 while the first flight to Sapporo from Tianfu proceeds on 26 October 2025.


The flight frequencies to Denpasar and Sapporo are as follows:-

From 26 September 2025, flight 3U3985 takes off from Tianfu for Denpasar daily at 3.15 pm, touches down in Denpasar at 10.05 pm before leaving under flight 3U3986 to Tianfu at 11.05 pm and arriving in Tianfu at 5.50 am daily. 

Sichuan Airlines flies to Sapporo from Tianfu on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.


The inaugural flight to Sapporo takes place on 26 October 2025 (Sunday) with flight 3U3987 taking off for Sapporo at 1.25 pm, landing in Sapporo at 8 pm before leaving under flight 3U3988 at 4 pm and touching down in Tianfu at 3.05 am local time. The Friday schedules follow the same as Sunday schedules.

The above flights are operated by A320-series aircraft.

Genghis Khan Airlines launches overnight base in Ulanhot on 11 July 2025 and new routes

On 11 July 2025, the launching ceremony of  Genghis Khan Airlines Ulanhot Overnight Base was held at Ulanhot Yilelite Airport. This base is the first overnight base established by Genghis Khan Airlines, marking the official start of the operation mode of Genghis Khan Airlines' operating base + overnight base.

In 2019, Genghis Khan Airlines signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Xing'an Banner to carry out in-depth cooperation in route development, aviation + tourism and other aspects. Ulanhot became the first destination to be served by Genghis Khan Airlines. Over the past 6 years, Genghis Khan Airlines has relied on Ulanhot to open routes such as Hohhot=Ulanhot, Hohhot=Tongliao=Ulanhot, Hohhot=Ulanhot=Manzhouli, and Ulanhot=Changchun, which have improved regional transportation accessibility

Genghis Khan Airlines' on-site operation in Ulanhot is a further implementation of the strategic cooperation agreement signed by both parties.

China Eastern has announced that it has launched its new route to Kumamoto from Pudong on 11 July 2025.

On 11 July 2025, according to schedules, China Eastern flight MU253 departs from Pudong for Kumamoto at 10.50 am, touches down in Kumamoto at 2 pm before taking off from Kumamoto for Pudong at 3 pm and arriving in Pudong at 4.10 pm under flight MU254.

From 11 July 2025 to 19 August 2025, China Eastern flies to Kumamoto on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays and from 20 August 2025 onwards, it flies to the Japanese city on Tuesdays and Fridays only with its A320neo jet.

Royal Air Philippines (also Royalair Philippines and Royalair) launches direct scheduled flight from Manila to Taoyuan on 10 July 2025.

On 10 July 2025, according to schedules, Royal Air Philippines flight RW246 leaves Manila for Taoyuan at 7.20 am, touches down in Taoyuan at 9.50 am before taking off from Taoyuan for Manila at 9.30 pm and landing in Taoyuan at 12.05 am under flight RW247 on 11 July 2025.

The low-cost airline runs the flights with its A320 aircraft on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.




Nordwind Airlines launches flight to Pyongyang from Moscow on 27 July 2025

According to CCTV News, the Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced on 14 July 2025 local time that the first flight from Moscow to Pyongyang is scheduled to open on 27 July 2025, with a flight time of about 8 hours. After that, the flight will operate at a frequency of one flight per month to cultivate a stable passenger source and ensure the sustainable operation of the route.

According to Nordwind Airlines' schedules, its B777-200ER flight N46107 leaves Moscow Sheremetyevo for Pyongyang at 7 pm on 27 July 2025, touches down in Pyongyang at 9.05 am local time before taking off from Pyongyang for Moscow Sheremetyevo at 10.05 am and arriving in Moscow at 11.45 am under flight N46108.

The launch of the route re-establishes a direct air link between the two capitals, which currently lack regular commercial flights. Currently, travelers traveling between Russia and North Korea must rely on alternative and less direct modes of transportation, such as charter flights or land routes through China.

Condor launches flight from Suvarnabhumi to Sanya on 27 July 2025

Condor, that currently operates scheduled weekly vacation flights to Suvarnabhumi from Frankfurt, is extending the route to Sanya on 27 July 2025.

On 27 July 2025, Condor current flight DE2362 departs from Suvarnabhumi for Sanya at 2.20 pm, touches down in Sanya at 5.20 pm before leaving Sanya for Suvarnabhumi under flight DE2363 at 6.50 pm and landing in Suvarnabhumi at 7.50 pm on the same day.


Flights depart for Sanya from Suvarnabhumi and return on Sundays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with Condor's A330-900 aircraft.

Economy air fare on the one-way Suvarnabhumi-Sanya route starts from US$140.99 and US$271.98 including taxes for the return trip on Condor's web-site.

Condor is the first airline to open an international route from Thailand to Sanya known famously as the "Hawaii of the East". 

HK Express launches non-stop flight to Kota Kinabalu on 27 November 2025

On 14 July 2025, HK Express announces that it is launching daily scheduled flight from Hong Kong to Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, on 27 November 2025.

On 27 November 2025, according to schedules, HK Express flight UO790 departs from Hong Kong for Kota Kinabalu at 9.25 pm, touches down in Kota Kinabalu at 12.30 am on 28 November 2025 before leaving Kota Kinabalu for Hong Kong at 1.30 am and landing in Hong Kong at 4.45 am under flight UO791.

HK Express flies to Kota Kinabalu, its third destination in Malaysia after Penang and Subang, with its A321 aircraft.

Jeju Air : Busan-Pudong from 25 July 2025, Incheon-Guilin from 1 October 2025

Jeju Air said on 7 July 2025 that as the demand for tourism to China grows, the airline will add more routes to China from South Korea.

First, Jeju Air will add a new route from Busan to Pudong from 25 July 2025, with four flights per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday). The departure time from Gimhae Airport is 10.15 pm (local time below), arriving at Shanghai Pudong Airport at 12.05 am and returning at 4 am, arriving at Gimhae Airport at 6.40 am.

Starting from 1 October 2025, Jeju Air will also launch a route from Incheon to Guilin, with four flights per week, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The departure time from Incheon International Airport is 9.25 pm, arriving at Guilin Liangjiang Airport at 12.40 am, and taking off for Incheon at 1.40 am, arriving in Incheon at 6.30 am.

In addition, Jeju Air has resumed the Jeju-Xi'an route since May 2025, with two flights per week, increased the Incheon-Weihai flight to three flights per week until 25 October 2025 and opened the Incheon-Yanji route with one flight per week until 26 August 2025.

Greater Bay Airlines launches flight to Xuzhou on 1 August 2025

Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) is pleased to announce that it is launching non-stop scheduled flight from Hong Kong to Xuzhou on 1 August 2025.

According to schedules, on 1 August 2025, GBA flight HB848 takes off from Hong Kong for Xuzhou at 7.45 am, lands in Xuzhou at 10.20 am before leaving Xuzhou for Hong Kong at 11.20 am and arriving in Hong Kong at 2.05 pm under flight HB849.

GBA flies to Xuzhou with its B737-800 aircraft on Mondays and Fridays.

Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) launches scheduled flight from Hong Kong to Quanzhou on 25 July 2025. It flies daily to Quanzhou with its B737-800 aircraft.

According to schedules published on GBA's web-site, on 25 July 2025, GBA flight HB546 departs from Hong Kong for Quanzhou at 9.10 pm, touches down in Quanzhou at 10.30 pm before leaving Quanzhou for Hong Kong at 8 am and landing in Hong Kong at 9.25 am under flight HB547. 

The above flight timing of HB547 is valid on Fridays and Saturdays.

On other days, HB547 leaves Quanzhou for Hong Kong at 8.40 am and arrives in Hong Kong at 10.20 am.

Hunnu Air launches scheduled charter flight from Khoshig Valley to Huangshan Tunxi Airport on 7 July 2025.

According to schedules, Hunnu Air flight  MR897 departs from Khoshig Valley, the international gateway to Ulaanbaatar, at 4.30 pm, touches down in Tunxi at 8.10 pm before leaving Huangshan for Khosig Valley at 9.10 pm and landing in Khoshig Valley at 12.50 am on the next day under flight MR898.

Hunnu Air flies to Tunxi on Mondays with its E195 aircraft.

SCAT Airlines launches scheduled flight from Shymkent to Xi'an Xianyang Airport on 2 July 2025.

On 2 July 2025, according to schedules, SCAT Airlines flight DV781 departs from Shymkent for Xi'an Xianyang at 5.40 pm, touches down in Xianyang at 1.10 am on 3 July 2025 before leaving Xianyang for Shymkent at 2.10 am under flight DV782 and arriving in Shymkent at 4.10 am.

SCAT flies to Xianyang with its 737 MAX 8 aircraft on Wednesdays and Saturdays. It returns to Shymkent on Thursdays and Sundays.
