Loong Air launches flight to KLIA on 1 February 2024

Loong Air launches its longest route to KLIA from Hangzhou on 1 February 2024 with its Airbus A320neo aircraft.

According to schedules, Loong Air flight GJ8035 departs from Hangzhou for KLIA at 11 am, touches down in KLIA at 4.25 pm before leaving KLIA for Hangzhou at 5.25 pm and landing in Hangzhou at 10.50 pm under flight GJ8036.

Loong Air flies to KLIA on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Currently, Loong Air has international flights to Suvarnabhumi and Kansai.

Zipair launches flight to Vancouver on 13 March 2024

Zipair, the long-haul low-cost subsidiary of Japan Airlines, has announced that it is launching direct scheduled flight from Narita to Vancouver on 13 March 2024.

According to schedules, Zipair flight ZG22 departs from Narita for Vancouver at 3.40 pm on 13 March 2024, touches down in Vancouver at 8.25 am before leaving Vancouver for Narita at 10.25 am and touching down in Narita at 12.25 pm local time under flight ZG21.

Zipair flies to Vancouver on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays with its 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft.

Starlux Airlines flies to Hakodate from 1 February 2024

Starlux Airlines launches scheduled flight to Hakodate from Taoyuan on 1 February 2024 with its A321neo aircraft.

According to schedules, Starlux Airlines flight JX860 takes off from Taoyuan for Hakodate at 12.30 pm, touches downn in Hakodate at 5 pm before leaving Hakodate for Taoyuan at 6 pm and arriving in Taoyuan at 9.35 pm under flight JX861.

Starlux Airlines flies daily to Hakodate.                                                                            


Cambodia Airways launches flight to Cam Ranh via Haikou on 29 December 2023

Cambodia Airways, the youngest airline of Cambodia, launches scheduled flight from Phnom Penh to Cam Ranh via Haikou on 29 December 2023 with its Airbus A320 aircraft.

According to schedules, Cambodia Airways flight KR9737 departs from Phnom Penh for Cam Ranh via Haikou at 6.50 am on 29 December 2023, transits in Haikou at 9.55 am before taking off for Cam Ranh at 10.55 am and arriving in Cam Ranh at 11.50 am.

Then on the same day, flight KR9738 leaves Cam Ranh for Phnom Penh via Haikou at 1.10 pm, stops over in Haikou at 4 pm before departing for Phnom Penh at 10.30 pm and touching down in Phnom Penh at 11.40 pm.

Cambodia Airways flies to Cam Ranh via Haikou on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Cambodia Airways launches flight to Chongqing on 6 January 2024

Fast-growing Cambodian airline, Cambodia Airways, launches direct scheduled flight to Chongqing from Phnom Penh on 6 January 2024.

On 6 January 2024, Cambodia Airways flight KR963 departs from Phnom Penh for Chongqing at 6.10 pm, touches down in Chongqing at 10.30 pm before leaving Chongqing for Phnom Penh at 11.30 pm and arriving in Chongqing at 1.55 am on 7 January 2024 under flight KR964.

Cambodia Airways flies to Chongqing from Phnom Penh on Mondays and Saturdays and returns to Phnom Penh on Tuesdays and Sundays.

Apart from Chongqing, Cambodia Airways also operates scheduled regional flights to Daxing, Jinan, Chengdu, Sanya, Shenzhen, Macau and launches regular flight to Cam Ranh via Haikou on 29 December 2023. It maintains international flights to Suvarnabhumi, Changi and Ho Chi Minh City with A319 and A320 aircraft.

Cambodia Angkor Air launches flight to Nanning on 29 December 2023

Cambodia Angkor Air launches non-stop scheduled flight from Phnom Penh to Nanning on 29 December 2023 with its A320 aircraft.

On 29 December 2023, Cambodia Angkor Air flight K6896 departs from Phnom Penh for Nanning at 7.45 am, touches down in Nanning at 10.50 am before leaving Nanning for Phnom Penh at 12.10 pm and landing in Phnom Penh at 1.25 pm under flight K6897.

Cambodia Angkor Air flies to Nanning on Fridays and Mondays.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines' regular flight to Sanya takes off on 21 December 2023

MIAT Mongolian Airlines has launched regular flight to Sanya from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN) since 21 December 2013 with its B737-800 aircraft.

According to updated schedules on MIAT's web-site, MIAT Mongolian Airlines flight OM251 departs from UBN for Sanya at 5.50 pm on Wednesdays, touches down in Sanya at 11 pm before leaving Sanya for UBN at 11.55 pm and arriving in UBN at 5.05 am on Thursdays under flight OM252.

MIAT's competitor Hunnu Air also flies to Sanya while the UBN-Haikou-UBN routes are solely operated by Hunnu Air.

MIAT Mongolian Airlines launches flight to Phu Quoc on 7 December 2023

MIAT Mongolian Airlines has launched weekly scheduled flight to Phu Quoc from Chinggis Khaan International Airport (UBN), the international gateway to Ulaanbaatar located in Khoshig Valley, since 7 December 2023. Flights operate on Wednesdays.

According to schedules, MIAT Mongolian Airlines flight OM7825 departs from UBN for Phu Quoc at 5 pm on Wednesdays, touches down in Phu Quoc at 10.25 pm before leaving Phu Quoc for UBN at 11.25 pm and arriving in UBN at 6.50 am on Thursdays under flight OM7826.

For the inaugural flight, B737-800 is utilized while subsequent flights to Phu Quoc are operated by MIAT Mongolian Airlines' B767-300ER.

Phu Quoc is the second Vietnam destination after Hanoi for the Mongolian national flag carrier while the airline has postponed its 22 December 2023 flight to Ho Chi Minh City to 4 January 2024. Again, B767-300ER serves the new route to Ho Chi Minh City.
