Cambodia Angkor Air launches flight to Changi on 31 October 2023

Cambodia Angkor Air and Sky Angkor Airlines are joining Cambodia Airways to operate non-stop scheduled flights to Changi from Phnom Penh.

Cambodia Angkor Air, the national airline of Cambodia, has decided to launch scheduled flight from Phnom Penh to Changi on 31 October 2023 with its Airbus A320 aircraft.

According to AeroRoutes, Cambodia Angkor Air flight K6750 departs from Phnom Penh for Changi on 31 October 2023 at 1 pm, touches down in Changi at 4 pm before leaving Changi for Phnom Penh at 5 pm and arriving in Phnom Penh at 6 pm local time under flight K6751.

Cambodia Angkor Air flies to Changi Terminal 4 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays but as of 17 August 2023, tickets are not yet available for sale on its web-site and offices.

In contrast, Sky Angkor Airlines, that plans to fly to Changi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 26 September 2023, has started to sell Phnom Penh-Changi tickets on its web-site.

From 19 August 2023, Cambodia Airways increases its flights to Changi from four times a week to five times a week, on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays.

China Eastern launches non-stop flight from Hefei to Changi on 14 August 2023

China Eastern launches direct scheduled flight from Hefei to Changi on 14 August 2023 with its Airbus A320neo aircraft.

On 14 August 2023, China Eastern flight MU769 departs from Hefei for Changi at 6.10 pm, touches down in Changi at 11.40 pm before leaving Changi for Hefei at 12.55 am on 15 August 2023 and arriving in Hefei at 6.25 am under flight MU770.

China Eastern flies from Hefei to Changi on Mondays and Fridays while it leaves Changi for Hefei on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Cambodia Airways launches flight to Macau on 1 August 2023

Cambodia Airways launches scheduled flight from Phnom Penh to Macau on 1 August 2023.

On 1 August 2023, Cambodia Airways flight KR503 departs from Phnom Penh to Macau on 8.10 am, touches down in Macau at 11.40 am before leaving Macau for Phnom Penh at 11 pm and arriving in Phnom Penh at 12.40 am on 2 August 2023 under flight KR404.

Cambodia Airways flies to Macau with its A320/A319 aircraft.

Sky Angkor Airlines launches flights to Changi and KLIA on 17 August 2023 and 18 August 2023

Cambodia's A321 flight operator Sky Angkor Airlines launches A320 flights to Changi and KLIA on 17 August 2023 and 18 August 2023 respectively from Phnom Penh.

On 17 August 2023, Sky Angkor Airlines flight ZA668 departs from Incheon for Changi at 8.05 am, touches down in Changi at 10.55 am before leaving Changi for Phnom Penh at 11.55 am  and landing in Phnom Penh at 12.50 pm local time under flight ZA669.

On 18 August 2023, flight ZA666 leaves Phnom Penh for KLIA at 6.55 pm, arrives in KLIA at 10 pm before taking off from KLIA for Phnom Penh at 11 pm and arriving in Phnom Penh at 11.50 pm under flight ZA667.

Sky Angkor Airlines plans to fly to Changi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays while it will fly daily to KLIA.

Currently, Sky Angkor Airlines flies internationally to Incheon, Suvarnabhumi and Macau and takes over Bassaka Air's slots in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap for its only domestic flights from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh with A321/A320 aircraft and on 25 July 2023, it receives delivery of Cambodia's first A320neo aircraft registered in the name of Sky Angkor Airlines.

EastarJet resumes flights to Thailand and Vietnam on 20 September 2023

EastarJet has announced that it is resuming scheduled flights from Incheon to Suvarnabhumi, the largest international gateway to Thailand, and Danang, the central Vietnamese city, on 20 September 2023.

On 20 September 2023, EastarJet flight ZE511 departs from Incheon for Suvarnabhumi at 5.30 pm, touches down in Suvarnabhumi at 9.20 pm before leaving Suvarnabhumi for Incheon at 10.20 pm and arriving in Incheon on 21 September 2023 at 6 am under flight ZE512.

Later on 20 September 2023, EastarJet flight ZE593 leaves Incheon for Danang at 8.40 pm, arrives in Danang at 11.10 pm before taking off from Danang for Incheon at 12.10 am on 21 September 2023 and landing in Incheon at 6.45 am under flight ZE594.

Meanwhile, EastarJet has resumed daily scheduled flight to Songshan airport of Taipei since 3 July 2023.

The above daily flights are operated by EastarJet's B737-800 aircraft.

IndiGo launches Asia's first flight to Tbilisi on 8 August 2023

IndiGo has become Asia's first low-cost airline to launch scheduled non-stop flight to Tbilisi, the capital of Caucasian country Georgia. On 8 August 2023, it begins its maiden scheduled flight to Tbilisi from Delhi.

On 8 August 2023, IndiGo flight 6E1807 departs from Delhi for Tbilisi at 8.10 pm, touches down in Tbilisi at 12.45 am before leaving Tbilisi for Delhi at 1.45 am and landing in Delhi at 7.10 am on 9 August 2023 under flight 6E1808.

IndiGo flies to Tbilisi from Delhi on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. It departs for Delhi from Tbilisi on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays with A320neo aircraft.

Vietnam Airlines launches regular flight to Harbin on 4 July 2023

Vietnam Airlines has launched its first regular scheduled flight from Cam Ranh to Harbin on 4 July 2023 with its A321 aircraft.

According to schedules, Vietnam Airlines flight VN870 takes off for Harbin from Cam Ranh at 4.30 pm on 4 July 2023, touches down in Harbin at 10.15 pm before leaving Harbin for Cam Ranh at 11.10 pm and arriving in Cam Ranh at 5.15 am on 5 July 2023 under flight VN871.

Vietnam Airlines flies to Harbin from Cam Ranh on Tuesdays and lands in Cam Ranh on Wednesdays.

IndiGo launches direct flight to Cengkareng on 7 August 2023

IndiGo launches direct flight to Cengkareng from Mumbai on 7 August 2023 with its Airbus A320neo aircraft.

On 7 August 2023, IndiGo flgiht 6E1601 departs from Mumbai for Cengkareng at 7.55 am, touches down in Cengkareng at 4.10 pm before leaving Cengkareng for Mumbaia t 5.05 pm and arriving in Mumbai at 9.30 pm under flight 6E1602.

IndiGo flies to Cengkareng daily.

Citilink launches direct flight to Port Moresby on 2 July 2023

Citilink launches direct scheduled flight from Denpasar to Port Moresby, the capital and largest city of Papua New Guinea, on 2 July 2023 with its Airbus A320neo aircraft.

On 2 July 2023, Citilink flight QG598 departs from Denpasar for Port Moresby at  4 am, touches down in Port Moresby at 11 am before leaving Port Moresby for Denpasar at 12 pm and landing in Denpasar at 2.55 pm under flight QG599.

Citilink flies to Denpasar on Thursdays and Sundays. It is the first Indonesian airline and first low-cost airline to operate flights to Port Moresby.
